Things to Do

The weather in Tucson in April is typically very pleasant, with normal highs around 83F and lows near 53F.

Tucson is known for its unique blend of Hispanic, Native American, and Anglo cultures, stunning Sonoran Desert landscapes (Saguaro National Park), world-class cuisine recognized by UNESCO City of Gastronomy, the University of Arizona, rich history (Mission San Xavier del Bac), and significant aerospace/defense industry, all under nicknames like "The Old Pueblo".

Great hikes are found in Sabino Canyon. The Arizona Senora Desert Museum (https://www.desertmuseum.org) is a regional treasure.

There are many great restaurants (El Charro downtown (https://www.elcharrocafe.com/) is a favorite Mexican restaurant for both locals and visitors).

There are also many great brew pubs (Tucson Hop Shop (https://www.tucsonhopshop.com/) with food trucks is Randy's favorite).
